News from Wolfsburg (Germany)

Volkwagen has a lot of changes for 2007. The new head of the board, Dr. Martin Winterkorn (ex-Audi-chef), has put his own team for key-positions. Starting from 1th of February, the new VW Head of Design will be Walter Maria da Silva who worked till now for the succes of all the Audi-designs. He will replace Murat Guenak who designed the new Passat, Eos and the Golf Mk V. Murat Guenak will leave Volkwagen.

As well coming from Audi will be Matthias Mueller who will be Head of Production Planning and Productmanagment. Wolfgang Hatz will be the new Head of Engine-Development but he will still be responsable for Audi's Engine-Development.

Intresting times will come to see which directions Volkwagens design will take. We all know that Audi's look awesome and i can't wait to see how the new GOLF or Passat will look in the future!!

With changes like this, Volkwagen will be soon on the Top again. Fingers crossed.
