Released: VW Tiguan Concept

This are the first pictures of the upcoming 2008 VW Tiguan. What you see here gives us a glims how the production version (in showrooms end 2007) will look like maybe with some minor modifications.

As well shown for the first time is a new diesel engine known as "Clean-TDI" similar to the BlueTec diesel engine's from DaimlerChrysler.

It is obvious that the mini-SUV is a smaller version of the VW Touareg who is worldwide famous and known for his though capabilities.
The Tiguan will not be available with a diff. lock but it will have permanent 4x4 (e.g. 4-Motion system).
The Rims shown on the concept will not make it to the production but the car looks Production-ready.

The Dashboard houses a Navigation system with CD/Radio and a jack for MP3-Players. There will be 6-Gear-DSG and 6-Gear Manuel available.

Engines will start from 140BHP up to 250BHP.
VW Tiguan Concept will be shown at the L.A. Car Show in January.
